The Sadat lineage is one of the oldest, most trusted, and extensive (in terms of population and geography) in the world. The lineage of Sadat’s lineage reaches the Prophet of Islam through Hazrat Fatimah S.A, and from that Imam to Hazrat Ibrahim A.S.
The Arabs also had a special sensitivity to ancestry before Islam, and after Islam, they honoured Sadat because of the belief and respect that Muslims had for the family of the Prophet.
ُSyed/Sayyid (Arabic: سیّد, feminine: Sayyida(سیّدة), Arabic plural: Sada (سادة); noun: Siyada (سیادة)) is an Arabic honorific title denoting descendants of Prophet Muhammad (s). However, publicly this title is mostly linked to the descendant of Lady Fatima (a) and Imam Ali (a) and the best-known branches of Syeds are those whose lineage reaches one of Imams.
